The Beacon AI Seminar

A hands-on working session for senior leadership teams

From abstract AI conversations to clear, confident decision-making.

What to expect

The Beacon AI Seminar is a short, focused executive working session that moves senior leadership teams from theoretical conversations to hands-on AI execution and implementation.

Alignment on core concepts and shared language

We start with a plain-English executive-level primer on the concepts: AI versus ML, neural nets, tokens, LLMs, vectors, and embeddings. We provide just enough depth to ensure that your senior leaders including CEO, CIO, Risk, Legal, and Marketing are operating from the same shared understanding.

Then we build together

In the second part of the Beacon AI seminar, we build working AI agents and solutions to address the challenges your team faces. You leave with working AI tools, a shared intuition across the group, and a clearer sense of where to put AI to work.

What you will leave with

Shared fluency across the senior team

CEO, CIO, Risk, Legal, Marketing operating from a common vocabulary and a shared conceptual foundation.

Two or three working AI tools, built by the team

Fully functional prototypes on each leader's own device - custom GPTs, Claude projects, NotebookLM instances, or similar - tailored to your real use cases. Extendable by your team afterward.

A clearer view of where AI belongs on your strategic roadmap

Clarity across the entire team about which initiatives AI can meaningfully accelerate, which it cannot, and where the real leverage points are.

Who this is for

This works best for teams where:
  • The senior team wants to get better aligned on AI and needs a shared grounding
  • Leadership is willing to be hands-on, not just listen
  • The organization is seriously engaging with AI, not dabbling
  • Three hours of focused, phone-free work is realistic
This probably is not the right fit if:
  • You are looking for a company-wide training program
  • You want a keynote or passive lecture format
  • Your team is already AI-fluent and wants deep technical work (an Intensive is likely a better fit)
  • You need a governance or compliance engagement rather than a working session
Two professionals collaborate in a bright, modern office. A man reviews content on a tablet while a woman leans over the desk, surrounded by color swatches and documents, signaling teamwork and design planning.

Beacon AI Seminar Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to our most commonly asked questions below.

Can you deliver this virtually?
The seminar works materially better in person. Virtual delivery is possible for geographically distributed teams but not recommended as the default mode for senior executive teams.
Can we have more than ten people?
Ten to twelve is the upper limit for genuine hands-on work. Beyond that, it becomes a lecture and the "everyone builds" promise becomes much more difficult to deliver. For larger organizations, running two seminars (often at different leadership tiers) works better than one oversized session.
What do participants need to bring?
Their own laptop or tablet. Willingness to engage without multitasking. Ability to access the selected tool suite (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). That is it!
Can it be customized to our industry?
Yes - the pre-engagement scoping handles this. Past seminars have been tailored for financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, and others.
What if half the team is already AI-fluent and the other half is not?
Common and manageable. The foundational half brings everyone to a shared baseline; the hands-on half challenges more-fluent participants with real construction work.
How do the tools actually get used afterward?
Varies. Some teams hand them to IT for hardening. Some use them as templates that get replaced over time. Some use them for a few weeks and move on. The bigger payoff is usually behavioral: senior leaders who have built something themselves find it much easier to make AI decisions grounded in experience going forward.
Can you do a longer format?
Yes, by request. Full-day workshops, two-day intensives, and integrated engagements (seminar plus intensive plus retainer) can be scoped for organizations that need deeper work.
