The Executive AI Intensive

A concierge AI practice for senior leaders

Four weeks. 1:1. In your environment, on your terms, at your pace. For senior leaders who are ready to move beyond slideware and achieve real-world results.

The Executive AI Intensive Program

Enterprise AI is moving faster than most organizations can absorb.
Senior leaders constantly need to bridge the gap between the art of the possible and what s actually deployable. They are expected to build their own foundational fluency, manage programs that sometimes get stuck at proof-of-concept, and simultaneously craft a cohesive strategy that has to hold up in a board conversation.

The Executive AI Intensive is built to address these competing priorities. Four private 75-minute sessions over four weeks, with artifact reviews and asynchronous questions answered within 48 hours. No TAs, no cookie-cutter curriculum. Every engagement is scoped from the first conversation against your specific priorities.

Foundational fluency
Fill the gaps in your understanding of LLMs, agents, generative AI, governance, and the vocabulary that has appeared around AI in the last two years. Leave with a real mental model and intuitive understanding of core concepts.

Deployed capability
Build something real in your actual environment. A custom GPT, a Claude project, a Cowork workflow, a NotebookLM instance, all configured with your domain or synthetic data and ready to use on day one.

Accelerated Implementation
Compress time-to-production on an AI initiative already underway. Integration architecture, governance approval paths, vendor evaluations, build-versus-buy decisions, and the detail-level execution questions that separate ambitious AI projects from shipped AI capabilities.

Sharper strategy
Pressure-test AI programs already underway against 25+ years of enterprise AI experience. Governance posture, portfolio decisions, vendor selection, CoE design, and any other essential AI building blocks coming across your desk.

Most engagements blend all three. We scope that in the first conversation.

How it works

Week 1: Scoping and Foundation

Our first session clarifies what you are actually trying to accomplish and establishes baseline fluency. By the end of week one, you have a clear four-week plan, and, depending on your starting point - either a greatly improved foundational literacy or a working tool already in progress.

Weeks 2 & 3: Hands-on Work

Two sessions focused on building, deciding, and sharpening. Async work and review of artifacts and documents between sessions means the 75 minutes we spend together are high-leverage, and we use our time together as productively as possible.

Week 4: Integration and Next Steps

Our final session consolidates what you have built and clarifies what comes next: whether that is extending the work yourself, onboarding your team, or moving into a different engagement shape.

What you will leave with

Tools you can use

Pragmatic frameworks for thinking about AI in your organization: 4Ds, Five Pillars, and others, tailored to your context. You will have a structured way to evaluate ideas, make portfolio decisions, and pressure-test what your team proposes.

Hands-on AI fluency

Hands-on fluency with at least one deployed capability in your environment: something you built, not something you watched someone else build. Usable today, extendable next month. Ready for a demo to your team or your board.

Actionable next steps

A clear-eyed view of what to do next: whether that is extending the work yourself, onboarding your team through a Beacon AI Seminar, moving into a retainer relationship, or simply proceeding with confidence.

Who this is for

You will get the most out of this if you are:
  • A senior operator (CEO, CTO, CIO, CAIO, VP or above) who makes decisions that compound over time
  • Working on a specific AI problem, question, or program - not just "AI in general"
  • Willing to show up for four weeks and do the work, including between sessions
  • At an organization where AI is (or will be) a meaningful priority
You will probably want a different engagement if you are:
  • Looking for a cohort experience with other leaders
  • Hoping to delegate AI literacy entirely to someone on your team
  • Early in your AI journey and not sure yet whether you want to engage seriously
  • Looking for the lowest-cost option

About Bjorn

I have spent 25+ years inside enterprise AI: machine translation in the 1990s, enterprise speech recognition in the 2000s, IBM Watson engagements from 2015 to 2019, and most recently generative AI transformation at Truist and Wells Fargo.

Today I run Kinetic Cognition, a private AI practice. The Executive AI Intensive is how I work 1:1 with senior leaders. I also deliver team seminars, retainer advisory, and occasional keynotes.

The frameworks I use - Five Pillars, 4Ds, Cognitive Courtesy - came out of real implementations and have delivered impact in companies ranging from Silicon Valley startups to Fortune 50 companies.

Applying for the Intensive

The Intensive is designed for a small number of clients at a time. Before we commit to four weeks together, we have a 20-minute fit call. This is a frank conversation to help me understand what you are working on and to clarify whether I am the right practitioner for where you are.

The application below takes about two minutes. If it is a fit, I will send a Calendly link to book the fit call. If it isn't, I will tell you directly and point you to a more appropriate resource.

FAQ

How is this different from a cohort course?

Cohort courses are designed for scale and built around a shared curriculum. The Intensive is designed for one person and built around their specific situation. You are working 1:1 with a practitioner on your own.

What if my problem is too specific / too strategic / too technical?

It probably isn't. I have worked with executives on everything from foundational AI literacy to governance program design to custom GPT deployment to board-level AI risk assessments. The fit call is where we figure out whether your specific situation is a match.

Can I bring a colleague into some sessions?

Yes, with scoping. If you are working on something that benefits from a second stakeholder in specific sessions, we can plan for that.

What if I need more than four weeks?

Some clients extend to a second four-week engagement or transition into retainer advisory. We will evaluate fit for either at the end of the first engagement.

How much is it?

Pricing starts at $15,000. Some engagements are more intensive due to longer durations, deeper involvement with your team, specific deliverables, and extended asynchronous access. The base engagement is $15,000; we will scope together on the fit call if your situation calls for something larger.

Is travel included?

Most engagements are virtual. On-site visits can be scoped into a customized engagement; travel and expenses are billed separately.
